Knox County Schools is in the process of establishing the operating and capital plan budgets for the 2024-25 school year. Last year, the Knox County community elevated the following funding priorities:
KCS is committed to continuing to invest in these funding priorities through the 2024-25 school year, but we want to know what current and potential funding priorities are most important to you. Additionally, as part of the Tennessee Investment in Student Achievement (TISA), KCS is required to submit an annual accountability report to the Tennessee Department of Education. The public is invited to review this report and to provide comments on the funding goals.
You can submit your comments in our annual budget survey, which is provided below, between October 16 and October 31. Your input is critical to ensuring we develop a budget that meets the needs of our KCS students, families, and staff.
