Volunteer with KCS

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Knox County Schools.

Because we know people’s schedules and demands vary, we are pleased to provide different levels of volunteer opportunities so you may serve students, teachers and schools in a way that best accommodates you.

Only Level 3 or 4 volunteers need to successfully complete a background check.

Volunteer background applications are initiated through the school office by the administration and/or designated staff. To initate a volunteer background check, please contact the school directly.
