School Announcements

  • Free and reduced meal applications do not automatically roll over from one school year to the next. If a parent feels they may qualify for free/reduced meals, they will need to submit a new application for the current school year to see if they are approved. Parents will be responsible for any charges accumulated until an application is approved. Once the application is processed the parent will receive a letter of confirmation in the mail with the results from the application.
All students who were at a free or reduced meal status at the end of the 16/17 year will have a 30 day grace period, which will end on 9/18/17. This means any student who was on F/R at the end of the 16/17 school year will have 30 days to turn in a new application for the current school year before they start getting charged full price for meals. Once the grace period ends, if no application is turned in AND approved the parent will be responsible to pay for any meals eaten in the cafeteria until a new application is approved. This will not wipe any charges off of the account previous to the application being approved. Parents will still be responsible to pay for any accumulated balance to the meal account.
