If your student has medical insurance, please fill that section out completely. Money collected from the insurance company helps fund the flu vaccination program. Regardless of what your insurance company pays, there is NO COST to you for the vaccine.
Teachers will begin Parent Teacher Conferences in September and go through October. Teachers will send home conference days and times that are available. Please take the opportunity to meet with your child's teacher during these next few months. Always know your child's teacher can meet with you at any time during the year.
FPS Fall Festival is Saturday, November 9 from 11:00 - 3:00. Come join us for games, food trucks, 2nd grade singing, and a fabulous bake sale!
FPS opens at 7:10 for car riders and walkers. All students enter the building through the cafeteria door on the car rider side. The bus lane opens up at 7:25 for students that are able to get out of the car own their own.
Picking Your Child Up Early?
School is dismissed at 2:45 pm. In order for all of our students to load their buses, cars, and daycare vans, we begin loading for dismissal at 2:30 pm. The office will not accept any early dismissals after 2:15 pm. If your child has an appointment, please be sure to have them picked up before 2:15 pm.
Please remember - a photo I.D. is ALWAYS required when picking up a student.
The automated calls you get from FPS and/or the district are important. Please listen to the message. DO NOT CALL THE SCHOOL asking what the message was. With close to 1000 students, this is tying up phone lines that could be needed in an emergency. Automated calls could contain information about inclement weather, bus problems, or important announcements. Remember:
Dear Farragut Primary Parents/Guardians,
Tennessee has a law regarding cell phone use in school zones. As of January 1, 2018 it became illegal to hold your cell phone in a moving vehicle within a school zone, this means flashing light to flashing light, not just on school property. It is a Class C Misdemeanor and punishable by fine up to $50. Knowing this will help keep our students, families, and staff safe.
