• KCS Impact

It is important to remember, data without context is like a book with missing pages; it fails to tell the complete story. KCS operates in a data-rich environment where we monitor and report our progress to state and federal agencies. The district tracks key metrics such as chronic absenteeism, third-grade ELA scores, ACT participation, and graduation rates. More importantly, we evaluate a range of data points—including these metrics—through the lens of our district's four priorities. This approach enables real-time decision-making aimed at improving student outcomes and ensuring every student is prepared to graduate ready for their future.

The KCS Annual Report offers valuable context about the district's efforts and insights into how data is leveraged for daily decision-making and long-term planning. While the various reports and data files available on this page contain important information, they cannot convey the full story of KCS on their own. It is imperative to also consider the students, stories, staff, and situations represented by and within these files.
