Therapeutic Professional Partnership (TPP)

TPP is a department made up of Licensed Mental Health Providers (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) as well as therapeutic case managers who provide counseling services through a student’s IEP (Individualized Education Plan).
Purpose
- To provide complementary therapeutic support to a Special Education Student’s social/emotional goals on their IEP to help the student fully access their education.
- To work with community providers to ensure a consistent approach to emotional support, specifically in the academic setting.
- To provide education, guidance and support to IEP members and staff who work with Emotionally Disturbed (ED) students. To clarify how emotions can impact behaviors, academics, social skills and perceptions.
