Middle School Courses for High School Credits

REQUIRED BY KNOX COUNTY SCHOOLS

 

Purpose & Use

State or county-wide EOCs are administered to ascertain student mastery of course content in all Middle School courses receiving high school credit.

Administration Window

MS Finals for HS Credit Courses (May 8-12, 2023)

Physical Science (May 8-10, 2023)

 

Looking ahead: 

• Test schedules are released by the district prior to the start of each school year. They will likely mirror the dates above, but cannot be confirmed until after the school year starts.

 

Length of Assessment

Each assessment is designed to be completed in one class period, usually varying between 35-50 questions.

Results to Parents & Students

Exam answer sheets are scanned at the building level following the administration of the exams and results are recorded in teacher grade books. Teachers review results with students.
