The five regional teams will each include a director and supervisor – one with elementary experience and the other with secondary experience – along with additional leaders who have expertise in various content areas. Schools will be assigned to the five regions based on feeder patterns and geographic proximity.
“It is important for district leaders to clearly understand the unique needs of school communities across Knox County,” said Dr. Rysewyk. “I believe that regional teams will allow us to act quickly and effectively in pursuing the priorities of excellence in foundational skills, great educators in every school, career empowerment and preparation, and success for every student.”
*Fair Garden Family Center along with other Pre-K programs will continue to be supervised by the Supervisor of Pre-K.
