    The Knox County Schools Welcome Center will create an affirming environment in which internationals and the Knox County community thrive and learn together therefore mutually benefit from sharing experiences and resources in a Welcome Center which will support families, facilitate communication, foster professional learning and support academic growth and citizenship for our students.

    Services Provided

    • Enrollment of students new to Knox County Schools from across the state, across the country, across the world
    • Translation Services for Enrollment 
    • Orientation to Knox County Schools for students and parents
    • Referrals to support services include: Adult ESL, Citizenship Classes, Health Clinics and more


    Staff Forms

    Please note an increased enrollment that will be prioritized over translations and phone call requests at this time. If you do not hear a response promptly,  please note that our Family Community Liaison is working with families and finalizing enrollments and other supports at the Welcome Center. We encourage the usage of the TalkingPoints program for commumication and kindly allow ample time for written translations. We apologize for any inconvenience.
