Holston Middle to Host Morning of Student Celebrations Space Camp Winners to be Announced; Girls Soccer, Volleyball Teams to be Recognized

WHAT:
Holston Middle will announce 16 winners of its Space Camp grant application courtesy of Harrison Construction Co. and other local supporting businesses. The 7th grade students and teacher chaperones will travel to Huntsville, Ala., this spring to participate in real world STEM activities. Interested students had to submit an essay or video, work a STEM problem-solving challenge and research and present a space-related topic at the school’s science symposium.The school will also recognize its girls’ soccer team and junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams for winning their respective district championship games.
