Elementary Schools Receive PeyBack Foundation Donations

Several Knox County Schools elementary schools are receiving gift cards from Peyton Manning’s PeyBack Foundation to provide gas assistance to families during the holidays.

On Wednesday, Dec. 17, at 12:30 p.m., representatives from 14 Knox County schools where a high need for assistance exists will convene in the library at Beaumont Magnet Academy (1211 Beaumont Avenue) to formally accept the gas cards. Staff will distribute the cards to their schools’ families before the Knox County Schools’ winter break begins.

This year’s donation is valued at $15,000. Over the past seven years, the foundation has donated more than $125,000 to the Knox County Schools.
 
Families from the following Knox County elementary schools will receive gift cards from the PeyBack Foundation: Beaumont Magnet Academy; Belle Morris; Christenberry; Dogwood; Green Magnet Academy; Inskip; Lonsdale; Maynard; Norwood; Pond Gap; Sarah Moore Greene Magnet Academy; Spring Hill; South Knoxville; and West View.
