The Knox County Board of Education Naming Facilities Committee will meet at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, January 20, 2023, in the boardroom of Summer Place, 500 W. Summit Hill Drive. The agenda for the meeting is available on the Board of Education page of Knox County Schools website. The committee will consider a name, mascot, and school colors for the new elementary school in northwest Knox County. Supporting or opposing opinions and required documentation must be received by the Committee at least five (5) days prior to the noticed meeting. Documents received late may not be considered.
