In July, Students in ten elementary schools across the district enjoyed the first week of Gear Up 4 STEM Camp. The students were eager to be back in the classroom while engaging in various methods of STEM learning. Students experienced coding and robotics, working as an engineer through the engineering design process, and virtually met with community partners to learn about STEM careers.

The community partners work in local STEM industry and share details about their careers with the students. Over the course of the four weeks of camp, the students work through a STEM challenge that the community partner faces in their career field.
Due to the current circumstance, the students had to meet with the partners virtually and we want to thank the partners for being creative, flexible, and willing to speak with the students. The community partners for the 2020-2021 school year are:
