• Health Department Offers Free Dental Services - More than 45 percent of all U.S. children experience tooth decay by age 19, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics. Let’s help Knoxville be a city where this preventable disease is minimized. Patients will receive education, screenings, exams, and a variety of other services. The Knox County Health Department’s (KCHD) School-Based Dental Program is offering free dental services for children and young adults at two locations this summer. You will need to make an appointment for the following days:
There will be a clinic at KCHD’s West Clinic (9000 Executive Park Drive, Suite A301B) during the dates of June: 3rd-6th, 9th-13th, 16th-18th, 23rd-27th, 30th and July 1st, times available from 9 am to 2 pm. (Interpreters will be available). These dates are for ages 1-21.
There will also be a clinic at Centro Hispano (201 3rd Ave.) during the dates of July 7th-10th, 14th-17th times available from 9 am – 2 pm. (Interpreters will be available). These dates are for ages 4-21.
