Canvas is a Learning Management System (LMS) used by teachers and staff in Knox County Schools to organize and present content of all kinds. Some of the courses offered for Professional Development will be offered online and some are offered face to face.
When taking a PD course, you may be asked to enroll in a Canvas course. Your facilitator will provide you with a link similar to this one: https://knoxschools.instructure.com/enroll/ABCDEF. Notice that the word enroll is in the URL. This is an enrollment link. It can be used one time to enroll in a course. If you use the link and then later try to return to the course using the same link, you will find that you are unable to connect.
After enrolling in a course, simply go to http://knoxschools.instructure.com
and log in with your employee ID number and email password (AD credentials). There you will find your courses listed under the red button that says courses.
