Lip Sync... Information from PTA
Lip Sync 2021 is happening! In accordance with KCS/KCHD guidelines, this year’s format will definitely be different, but better than ever!
We have partnered with FunFlicks to create a night like no other and bring you the ultimate lip sync experience on giant inflatable screens! Groups will perform live in the auditorium as usual. The audience will also attend the event live - but outside in the parking lot and soccer field! Come enjoy the show safely from the comfort of your own vehicle with an optional parking pass, or join us on the grass in your lawn chair for a socially-distanced live-streamed viewing experience under the stars! 2 options and 2 screens for your viewing pleasure - 1 show only! Hungry? We’ve got you covered - look for food trucks providing snacks for purchase! More details to come!
Never been to BMS Lip Sync? No problem! Look for a fun informational video coming soon!
Date: Friday, April 16th (rain date April 23)
Time: After sunset (approx. 8:00pm)
Judging: Winners 1st, 2nd and 3rd place announced immediately after the performance!
Students performing at Lip Sync: Get your groups together! Grab some friends, choose a theme, pick your songs and put it all together! Start planning your costumes, sets and props! Edit your music! Practice your choreography! Appoint a lead group parent. Performances should be approximately 3 minutes long. Is there a limit on the number of friends that can be in one group? No, but please be aware that the BMS stage can only hold so many people at one time (25-ish people comfortably, fewer with large sets)! If you have a large group, please be aware that your choreography will need to be planned so that group members move on and off stage during the performance. Crowding the stage or wings can result in negative scoring so plan accordingly!
Lip Sync Signup Information Sheets: Signup sheets are available in the Student Office on 2/17, 2/18, 2/19, and also at sign-ups. *Groups - please go get these sheets ahead of time, complete all information on the sheets and bring with you to sign ups.* Each group only needs one (1) of each of the sheets.

Please be reminded that there are no left turns onto Middlebrook Pike in the mornings and afternoons. When you try to turn left you back up traffic and hold up the dismissal process for everyone else. If you would like to turn left onto Middlebrook Pike, exit the parking lot to Francis Rd and go to the light. Knox County Schools Security does not have the authority to direct traffic on Middlebrook Pike which is why the officer only crosses students. From BMS PTA..... PTA ENRICHMENT FUND UPDATE
