What do we do in TSA?
TSA members meet before and after school to work on their individual and team competitive events and activities. The technology lab is open from 7:30 - 8:25 a.m. each morning. The lab will also be open until 4:30 p.m. after school on an arrangement basis. Members are advised to take advantage of the open lab times to prepare for the competitions. In addition to the competitive events, members work on leadership activities, community service projects, and fund-raising activities. The Achievement Program provides the students with the opportunity to earn recognition for their achievements in and out of the classroom. TSA offers three levels of competition: district, state, and nationals. The only way that a student can receive the full benefit of this organization is to dedicate their time and effort to the activities of Bearden Middle and TSA. We hope to give your child the opportunity to get involved with this great organization. As club advisors, we are very busy. Parent meetings will provide parents an opportunity to meet the chapter advisors, ask any questions, and make important decisions about planning for the state and national conferences.
