- Beginning in the second semester of the 2023-24 school year, the state has changed food programming and BMS students along with almost 60 other Knox County Schools will receive free breakfast and lunch. The free meals are limited to one breakfast and one lunch a day. Students can purchase more food a-la-carte, but they cannot charge their food.
