    • Storytellers
      • Are you interested in learning videography? Do you have a passion for telling stories that matter to you, the school, and the community? If so, storytelling is for you! Storytelling is an enrichment class for next school year. You can find the application in the student office. Applications are due April 1st to Mrs. Brown in room 219. An application is also available here.
    • Tech Team
      • Here is a Tech Team commercial for those interested in applying. Students may see Ms. Pace for a paper copy of the application. The application must be returned to Ms. Pace.
    • Yearbook Staff

    Lip Sync... Information from PTA

    Lip Sync 2021 is happening!  In accordance with KCS/KCHD guidelines, this year’s format will definitely be different, but better than ever!  

    We have partnered with FunFlicks to create a night like no other and bring you the ultimate lip sync experience on giant inflatable screens! Groups will perform live in the auditorium as usual. The audience will also attend the event live - but outside in the parking lot and soccer field!  Come enjoy the show safely from the comfort of your own vehicle with an optional parking pass, or join us on the grass in your lawn chair for a socially-distanced live-streamed viewing experience under the stars!  2 options and 2 screens for your viewing pleasure - 1 show only!  Hungry?  We’ve got you covered - look for food trucks providing snacks for purchase!     Time: After sunset (approx. 8:00pm)
    Judging: Winners 1st, 2nd and 3rd place announced immediately after the performance!

    Lip Sync Participants: A Huge Thank you to all groups for coming out to Lip Sync auditions! We witnessed great talent the past few days! While we wish all groups could make the list, there is just not enough time for all of them to perform. Please make sure if you are not on the list this year that you do come back to tryouts next year!

    Parent Meeting: There will be a Parent Meeting after Tryouts via Zoom on Wednesday March 10 at 10am where parents will learn all about how Lip Sync will work this year, expectations, deadlines, responsibilities etc.

    Yearbook Information  

    Yearbook Sales: The pre-order deadline to order yearbooks was 3/5/21. If extra books are available for purchase then an announcement will be made at distribution time, and they will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.



    Current Sixth and Seventh Grade Students; Registration for 2021-2022

    March 1 through March 7, sixth and seventh-grade students were required to choose elective classes for the next school year. Sixth grade students made a choice for World Language and Fine Art. Seventh-grade students made a choice for their Fine Art class.

    Students were to log in to their Aspen page in order to do this. Directions for choosing electives were on the main Aspen page. Parents, were asked to please have a discussion with your child about their choices. Teachers worked with students during this week and assisted students.

    Tech Help


    Please send an extra mask with your child on the day they have PE. They will be physically active!


    Chromebook Cases may be purchased (at cost) online through School Cash Online here.  A check or exact cash may also be sent to school with your child.

    Cash/Check Price - $19.10

    Online Price - $21 ($1.90 fee for online service)

    In-Person students will be given their cases through the tech office in the library.

    Virtual Families can pick up your cases in the office at your convenience.



    Traffic Pattern

    Please be reminded that there are no left turns onto Middlebrook Pike in the mornings and afternoons. When you try to turn left you back up traffic and hold up the dismissal process for everyone else. If you would like to turn left onto Middlebrook Pike, exit the parking lot to Francis Rd and go to the light. Knox County Schools Security does not have the authority to direct traffic on Middlebrook Pike which is why the officer only crosses students.
