    These two Canvas courses will be added as students meet with the teachers in person on the first days of school. As your student meets with School Couseling and with the Computer Lab teacher, they will be instructed on enrollment in the courses for Canvas.

    If you are looking for something for your kiddos to do, encourage them to read a book! To access the KCS eBook platform, MackinVIA, go to the library/media center page under the STUDENT heading. These Ebooks work just like regular library books, but in a digital environment. When you log in, you can search and browse for available titles, and when you find something you like, you can check it out in just a few clicks.

    Check out our mayor's Read City USA link at the bottom of this webpage. Even if you can't make it to the library, there's a huge selection of TUMBLEBOOKS available at your fingertips for free. These books can be read online (without checking out through the library) and a lot of these books have an audio version for young readers. Scroll to the bottom of the Read City USA website and click on Tumblebooks to explore the collection. Help your student become a better reader with this free online resource!
