PES FAQs

• Doors open at 7:10 AM
• School begins promptly at 7:45 AM
• Attendance is turned in at 8 AM; after that, students are marked as Tardy or Absent
• "Breakfast In The Classroom" begins at 7:30 and ends at 7:45 AM
• School ends at 2:45 PM; car rider pickups must be made by 3 PM (Afternoon Safeties should be picked up in the front of the building at 3:10 after the first week of school)
  
• 1/2 days dismiss at 11:15 AM
• No early dismissals after 2:15 PM please!

POLICIES AT A GLANCE:

• Please follow all food guidelines in the handbook.  This is for the safety of all children at PES!
  
• Please follow all clothing guidelines in the handbook as well. 
  
• Parents/visitors must check in at the front of the building, sign in, and receive a Visitor Badge.  It should be displayed at all times when you are in the building.
• No early dismissals AFTER 2:15 PM please!
• Parents should review and sign folders each night.  Talk with your child about any concerns you or they may have.
  
• Children thrive when they are well-rested, well-fed, comfortable, and feel safe.  Do your part to make school a priority for your family and your child! They should arrive on time and ready to learn!
