Directions to Powell Elementary School:

From I-75 North, take the Emory Rd exit and stay in the far left lane.  Turn left at the end of the ramp and follow West Emory Rd past Kroger.  Continue through the next light at Heiskell/Dry Gap Rds and proceed to the next light.  Turn right, continuing on West Emory Rd, and go down the hill and around the curve till you see The Front Porch restaurant directly in front of you.  There is a split in the road at this location - bear to the right on Spring Street.  (If you cross the railroad tracks, you have gone the wrong way)  Follow Spring Street up the hill to the front of the school and park in the circle drive for temporary parking. 

From Clinton Highway, turn onto West Emory Rd and follow it past Powell Middle and Powell High Schools.  Turn left at Bojangles, up a slight hill and across the railroad tracks.  Turn right on Spring Street (first right), continue past the first stop sign and the school will be on your left.  (If you get to the church, you have passed the school)
