    Cherryhaven Home provides services to special young adult women who are in need of care. Cherryhaven is a habilitation center for adult women between the ages of 18 to 30. Our goal is providing transitional living skills necessary for them to live on their own in an apartment or house. Office Hours: Monday – Friday from 9:00AM – 5:00PM

    Employment Program

    Sunshine Industries provides short-term vocational training and long-term sheltered employment to individuals with developmental disabilities. Work includes light industrial subcontract jobs for local businesses, as well as a metal shop where commodities are manufactured for the federal government. 

     

    Residential Program

    Sunshine Industries offers both Independent Living and Beta Home Programs. The ILP provides minimal supports to individuals with developmental disabilities who live in the community. Residents pay their living cost and a monthly supervision fee. Beta Homes serve a coed group of adults who have a dual diagnosis of developmental disabilities and/or mental illness. Training by staff promotes personal growth and development for residents who require consistent structure and supervision.

    Service:

    TEIS is a voluntary educational program for families with children ages birth through two years of age with disabilities or developmental delays. The primary goal of EI is to support families in promoting their child’s optimal development and to facilitate the child’s participation in family and community activities. It is the parents who provide the real early intervention by creatively adapting their child care methods to facilitate the development of their child, while balancing the needs of the rest of the family. Weekly home visits provide caregivers support and information, and teach them skills that will help them promote development in their child. Office Hours: Monday- Friday from 8:00AM – 4:30PM
