Service:
Child and Parenting Skills is a education/support group for teen parents with identifiable high-risk factors. The educational program focuses on parenting a child less than three years of age. Each parent and child is recognized as unique individuals worthy of nurturing love and a healthy life style. Participants are recommended by guidance counselors, teachers, and CAPS participants. Services:
Boot Camp for New Dads
A proven program designed to build confidence and prepare first-time fathers for the challenges of parenthood. This is a 3-hour workshop taught by veteran dads and their newborns to rookie dads who are expecting their first baby. No women allowed. Connections
This is a program that provides intensive in-home services, counseling, and other therapeutic services designed to meet the needs of at-risk families in Knox County. Using a proven effective model, services for vulnerable families in the community settings. Office Hours: Monday – Friday from 9:00AM – 5:00PM

NFP is a program for women who are having their first baby. If you enroll, a specially trained nurse will visit you in your home throughout pregnancy and continue to visit until your baby is 2 years old. NFP is free to all eligible women; you must apply prior to your 28th week of pregnancy. Office Hours: Monday – Friday from 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Parenting Classes
Participants have 12 weeks to complete 8 classes and the classes are interchangeable to meet participant’s schedule. They address issues such as self-esteem, communication, and parenting pledges. Registration is required. Hours: Monday from 5:30PM – 7:30PM (Child care for ages 3-12)
