    Welcome to 2nd grade! Please provide the following items for your 2nd grader. Thank you for your help as we prepare for the new school year!

    Welcome to 2nd grade! Please provide the following items for your 2nd grader. Thank you for your help as we prepare for the new school year!

     

    • 3 boxes of crayons (24 count)
    • 4 glue sticks
    • 4 different colored highlighters
    • 2 boxes #2 Ticonderoga pencils (NO DECORATIVE PENCILS PLEASE)
    • 1 pair of school scissors
    • 16 thick black dry erase markers (low odor and no other colors)
    • 1 four-count pack of thin black dry erase markers (low odor)
    • 3 plastic folders with pockets and brads (yellow, blue, and red please)
    • 1 one-inch binder with a plastic cover on the front (no bigger)
    • 1 pack of pencil top erasers
    • 1 clipboard
    • 1 pencil box
    • 2 composition books (WIDE RULED)
    • 1 package of post-it notes with lines
    • 1 pair of over the ear headphones (No ear buds please. They tend to break quickly)
    • 1 container of disinfectant wipes
    • 1 tissue box

     

    Girls bring: one package of clear 3 hole standard sheet protectors and a box of sandwich size baggies

    Boys bring: one box of Crayola markers (thick) and a box of gallon size baggies

     

    We strongly encourage you to watch the ads for sales during the months of July and August. Many of these items will be on sale. You might also consider buying a few extra items while they are on sale to be sent in mid-year if your child’s supplies need to be refreshed. Tax Free weekend will start July 26th. It is a good idea to stock up at this time on items that might need to be replaced mid-year (crayons, glue, etc.).

     

    If you cannot find some of the above items, we will work with you to make sure your student has what he or she needs to be successful in the classroom.
