Powell High School Scholars Requirements

In order to be recognized as a Powell High School Scholar each student had to meet the following criteria

1. The scholar had to achieve a 3.95 or higher overall GPA

2. The scholar had to take at least (10) Weighted Classes (AP, Honors, Dual, NIC) through the first (7) semesters of high school

3. The scholar could receive no grade lower than a C in a weighted course

4. The scholar could receive no grade lower than a B in a non-weighted course

5. The scholar could have never received an OSS discipline

Each PHS Scholar will receive a gold tassel to be worn at graduation in the place of the standard orange tassel of other class members
