Welcome to the School Counseling Page for Brickey-McCloud Elementary 2023-2024

Please continue to check back throughout the school year as we will be adding content as the year continues. We are excited to have two school counselors this year at Brickey. Mrs. Adams, is our fulltime (5 Days) counselor and Ms. Jessy Alva, we will share with Corryton Elementary. She will be with us 3 days a week and the other 2 days at Corryton Elem..  Both counselors may work with any student, but our plan for this year is to have Ms. Alva working with and teaching four of our Kindergarten classrooms; 1st grade, and 5th grade students. Mrs. Adams will be working with and teaching four Kindergarten Classrooms: 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gr. students this year. We are excited about beginning a new year with lots of new and exciting things happening in our school and within our district. Our theme for Brickey this year is Blast from the Past! The 2023 - 2024 school year will be full of adventures, fun, and lots of new learning!  Brickey and Knox county Schools will do all we can to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our students to continue to grow and learn. Our job as your school counselors is to help with that any way we can. This will take everyone communicating their needs. So please do not hesitate to call or email your child's teacher, their school counselor or one of our amazing administrators, if you have any questions or concerns this year. As your school counselors, we provide many different services through our school counseling program.
