Fulton's Chapter of the National Honor Society is made up of a select group of students who portray the four pillars of the National Honor Society: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. In order to become a member, the students are sent an invitation once they have met the minimum G.P.A. of 3.3. From that point, the students are required to complete an application that includes: a letter of how they meet the four pillars, two letters of recommendation and the completed application. The advisory committee then reads the applications and votes on who becomes a member.
Our meetings are run by the officers. Our current officers are:
President: Casper Balch
Vice-President: Ashlyn Felipe - Diaz
Secretary: Lydia Ndacayisaba
Treasurer:
Historian: Odreille Uwimana
The faculty sponsors of the club are Darrian Jefferson, Heather Deyton and Parker McLellan.
There are many reasons to be proud of our members, in that many of our members are involved in athletics, the marching band, and other clubs within the school. Our members are dedicated to making Fulton High School a school to be proud of.
We do a couple of service projects throughout the school year. One of those projects this year and every year is for raising funds for breast cancer research.
