SUBSCRIPTION

As a special way to commemorate our country's national patriotic holidays and serve the community, the Powell Band is selling Flag Subscriptions throughout Powell.

Purchasing a subscription (which is TAX DEDUCTIBLE) for $50 will provide you with 5 consecutive installations. We will place an 8' tall, all-weather, 3'x 5' flag in your yard each holiday morning and remove it that evening. After 5 installations, renewal notices will be mailed/emailed to participants.

Flag installations occur on Memorial Day, the Saturday closest to Flag Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day and the Saturday in November associated with Knox County's Veterans Day parade.

SPECIAL NOTE: INSTALLATION INFORMATION

If you do not provide specific instructions to the band, the installation of flags will be centered around the front of the house as best we can. If there is a sidewalk, the flag is placed on the street side grass. If there is not a sidewalk, the flag is placed 6 feet from the street.
