Principal, Sunnyview Primary Elementary School

 
I am honored to serve as principal of Sunnyview Primary School.  

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Human Learning, Growth, Behavior and Development and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I also have a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Austin Peay State University.  

My previous experience includes serving as an Assistant Principal at Gibbs Elementary School and twenty-six years of teaching experience at Carter Elementary School in various grade levels. Most of my teaching experience has been in first and fourth grade. 

My goal as an administrator is to provide a nurturing environment where students and staff can thrive, increase student achievement, and support educators in the refinement of their craft. I want students to view education as a portal that transports them to a world of endless possibilities.
