Meet the Counselor

  • Welcome to BMA's school counseling page! 

    My name is Catherine Vickery, but the kids call me Ms. Cat. This is my third year at BMA, and I am here five days a week. I offer a variety of services, including short-term individual counseling, crisis intervention, small group counseling, consultation with families and staff, and monthly classroom lessons.

What is a School Counselor?

School Counselors are licensed educators with a minimum of a master’s degree in school counseling, making them uniquely qualified to address all students’ academic, career and social/emotional development needs by designing, implementing, evaluating and improving a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes and enhances student success.
