Mrs. Donya Hickey

I am excited to be the new Assistant Principal at Bonny Kate. I am committed to fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment and to ensure the success and well-being of every student.

I hold an Ed.S degree in Educational Leadership, a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction, and a Bachelor's in Business Management. I have served in various capacities within Knox Co. including Assistant Administrator at Richard Yoakley, RTI/Coach at Sarah Moore Greene, and TAP Master Teacher at South Doyle Middle School. Through these roles, I was able to have a significant impact on the lives of students and the school communities. 

As a leader, I feel it is important to be a collaborator and foster strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents to build a supportive network that promotes student success.

With a deep understanding of curriculum development and instructional strategies, I am passionate about ensuring academic excellence at Bonny Kate. 

Mr. Riley and I will work tirelessly to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment where students can reach their full potential. We will strive to provide a safe and supportive environment that allows students to feel valued, empowered, and motivated to succeed.

It is with great enthusiasm that I look forward to being a part of this community, and together, we will shape the future of our students.
