SCHOLARSHIPS

  • The Optimist Club of Knoxville:  The Henry Naff scholarship is for graduating seniors planning to attend college this fall, have true financial need, actively involved in community and school activities, and has performed well in high school scholastically.

    Applications are available in the counseling office. Deadline to apply is April 16, 2021. 

     

    2021 Application for the Knox Co Council PTA Scholarship

    Is available in the counseling officeDeadline to apply is March 23, 2021. 

     

    The Rotary Club of Knoxville Scholarship: Scholarships funded by the Rotary Foundation of Knoxville are intedned for students who have achieved academic success, demonstrated commitment to the community, and have genuine financial needs. Applications are available in the counseling office. 

    The Kiwanis Club of Northside Knoxville, Inc. / Andy Hutson Service Award. This award is based on an individual’s service to the community and academic success. Applications can be picked up in the counseling office.   

     

    Junior League of Knoxville scholarships are available to any female high school senior seeking to pursue an undergraduate degree at an institution of higher learning and is intended to provide financial assistance for college. Scholarships are awarded up to $5,000. Applications are due by April 9, 2021. Appliations are available HERE

     

    TACD Scholarship for students pursuing a career in Agriculture: 

    This scholarship is for students who plan to major in Agriculture and pursue a career in the field. The applicants must be accepted to a Tennessee public University. 

    Applications are available in the counseling office and must be postmared no later than March 15, 2021. 

     

    The Cheryl Sherrod Hooks Memorial Scholarship:  

    The Cheryl Sherrod Hooks Memorial Scholarship application is available in the counseling office. Deadline to apply is April 15, 2021.

    Lincoln College of Technology in Nashville: 

     
    Students interested in attending Lincoln College of Technology in Nashville can apply for a scholarship at link above. Deadline for application 12/31/20. Those accepted will earn $2000 towards their program. 

     

    East TN Foundation Scholarship Opportunities: 

    Scholarship Information & Applications available online starting November 1, 2020 at http://www.etf.org/scholarships.  Deadline to apply is February 15, 2021

    Brandy Maples Memorial Scholarship: For graduating seniors of Carter HS. $1,000 per year for up to two years.

    Elizabeth Hope Marletter Memorial Scholarship: Students pursuing a post-secondary education in medical-related field. One time award of $1,000.

    Knoxville Football Officials Association ScholarshipKFOA Scholarship: for football players and those associated with the team (dance, cheer, etc) Scholarship: $2,500 per year Min. 3.0 GPA ACT Composite: 21 or higher Financial need Full-time enrollment @ college or trade school Apply at http://etf.org/scholarships Deadline Feb 15, 2021

    Knoxville Business Association Scholarship: Students pursuing a business related degree from UTK. $1,500 year one, $2,000 year two, $2,500 year three, $3,000 year four. 

    Barbara G. Kirkpatrick Memorial Scholarship: To assist single parent students furusing a four-year undergrad degree at ETSU. $2,000 one time award for one year. 

    James K. Goldston INFOSEC Scholarship: Students pursuing a degree in computer science, computer engineering, cyber science, inforation security, or a National Security Agency - approved Information Security curriculum.  $1,200 one-time award for one year. 

    B & W Y-12 Scholarship: Students studying a science related field not seeking health care professionals. $1,400 one-time award for one year. 

    Butterfly Fund Memorial Scholarship: To assist graduating hgh school seniors and current college students pursuiing a career in a broad variety of field swinthin pediatric oncology. $1,000-$2,000 one time award for one year. 

    Harold W. Canfield Memorial Scholarship: Participation in the Knoxville Track Club (NOT Knoxville Youth Athletics- KYA) required. $1,000 one time award for one year. 

    Cherish the Child Legacy Scholarship:  To provide scholasrhip assistance to eligible students, age 25 or younger, who are or were foster care participants or who received services from Smoky Mountain Children's Home. $1,800-$3,600 one-time award for one year. 

    Gordon W. and Agnes P. Cobb Scholarship: For graduating senior pursuing a 4-year undergrad degree in health care and/or a medical-related feild. $10,000 per year for upto 4 years. 

    Joe R. and Kathy K. May Scholarship: For students who do not display the highest scholastic rankings, yet possess potential and motivation, as they pursue their dream of obtaining a college education. $2,000 one-time award for one year. 

    Lawrence Strader Boy Scouts of America Scholarship: For students who are currently registered members of Boy Scouts of America, Great Smoky Mountain Counscil, with a mimimum of three yars participation as a Boy Scout. Please note: Female Applicants welcome.  $3,000 per year awarded for one time. 

    Valkyrie-Thor Scholarship in Theatre Arts Fund: To assist students studying Theatre at Pellissippi, Roane State, UTK or Maryville College. $1,000 one time award. 

    Debbie Van Cleave Scholarship: This benefits legally blind students pursue highter education. Applicants must be blind, with vision of 20/200 or less in the better eye after correction and/or a visual field reduced to 20 degrees or less. $1,000 one time award.

    2021 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards: 

     

    This award was created in 1995 to recoginze students in middle and high school grades who have made meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service. These prestigious awards, sponsored by Prudential Financial in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), are presented annually on the local, state and national level.
