CMS has 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade Chorus classes directed by Mary Mays. Classes meet every day during Related Area time. Chorus classes learn singing skills, techniques, and some general music foundations. Chorus classes also learn about some composers and music history. The Choruses perform twice a year, in December for the Christmas Concert, and again in May for the end of the year spring concert. Some 8th-grade students try-out and are accepted into the KCS Honors Choir which performs in February.
