Hello! My name is Cindee Peters. this year I will begin my twentieth year as the school counselor at WVE.  I will be at West View 5 days a week this year.  

It's a joy to help students during this time of life. Through classroom lessons, small group and individual counseling, I provide a comprehensive program built upon the TN and ASCA standards prescribed for school counselors. All students receive instruction regarding their social/emotional, academic, and career/college development through classroom lessons. Students in need of further support on these topics can meet with me for small group or individual counseling.

 During these unprecedented times, small group and individual counseling will look different. I aim to offer as much assistance as I'm able to in the school setting while maintaining social distancing and following up to date guidelines recommended by KCS system .

When I'm not at school, I cherish being a mother to my 2 adult children and my trusty lab, Bingo.
