Help meet basic needs in order to remove barriers for families to develop their full potentials socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually 

Embrace honesty, professionalism, and communication in collaboration with and in support of fellow social workers 

Develop innovative interventions that work towards increasing knowledge of various cultures and values, self-awareness and acceptance by and of families and children, and to support and enhance the dignity of the student 

Function as the vital link between home, community, and school to educate and empower students and families, get them engaged in the learning process, and resist enabling behaviors 

Support and collaborate with staff and administration to provide crisis assistance 

Know and act in ways that demonstrates each child has the potential to be successful
