I am excited to continue my career working with the faculty and families at Gibbs Elementary.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Lincoln Memorial University, Master’s Degree from East Tennessee State University, Special Education Endorsement from Tennessee Wesleyan, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University.

My teaching career began at Maynardville Elementary in Union County where I taught reading and then 3rd grade for five years.. For the past twenty-one years I have taught at Gibbs Elementary. The majority of my time was spent teaching 3rd grade. I have also taught 2nd grade and then for the last seven years I have had the opportunity to be a special education teacher.

My husband Junior and I live in East Knoxville with our three children, Austin, Hadley and Jadyn.
