SENIORS... Please continue to update SCOIR to indicate the colleges you are Applying or have Applied, and then edit the “Application Outcomes” as you hear from schools and make decisions. This is the only way I know where and when to send your application documents.

TN Promise Mandatory Meeting, Thursday Dec 5, 4 to 5 PM in the Commons. Students must be on time and stay for the duration of the meeting. If a student can’t attend, complete the Excuse Form and plan to attend a meeting on February 11, 2025.

The FAFSA application is open. A Help Session for Parents and Students will be on Thursday, December 5 from 5-6 PM in the FHS Commons. The senior student and one parent will each need to create an FSA ID at studentaid.gov. After 2-3 business days, the application can be completed. Tax returns from 2023 will be needed. The FAFSA deadline is March 1 for some Tennessee colleges.
