    Mr. Bethel has 3 kids, Emma (20), Nolan (17), and Brennan (12). Mr. Bethel graduated from TN Tech University and Arkansas State University. He will be in his 13th year of administration.

    Mr. Bilbrey graduated from Karns High School and most recently taught middle school ELA. His academic accomplishments include a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from King University, a Master's of Science Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University.

    Mrs. Cara Vaughn - Assistant Principal

    Mrs. Cara Vaughn serves as the assistant principal for the class of 2025. She began her career as a middle school science teacher. She and her family moved to Knoxville in 2013, where she joined the BHS team as a teacher in the science department. Mrs. Vaughn enjoys supporting students and teachers in a variety of capacities. 

    Mrs. Vaughn is a Middle Tennessee native who graduated from Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro, TN. She then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education from Tennessee Technological University.

    Mr. Nicholas Walsh - Assistant Principal

    Mr. Walsh is an East Tennessee native who has worked in the Knox County school system since 2009. He attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009 and a Master of Science degree in 2010. He later attended and graduated from Lincoln Memorial University with an Education Specialist degree in 2013.
