Mission Statement

The mission of the School Counseling Program is to provide comprehensive school counseling services that assist all students in their academic, career and personal/social development as they work towards becoming caring, responsible, and knowledgeable students in a global society.

Vision Statement

Students will become life-long learners in an environment that is supportive, challenging, and positive.  Students will demonstrate respect for others as well as themselves and obtain a greater understanding and appreciation of our world.

Beliefs

Education is a responsibility shared by students, parents, staff, and community and is based on an atmosphere of mutual respect.

Every student has the potential for learning and meeting high academic standards.

Consideration is given to the individual needs of every student.

A comprehensive school counseling program should be provided for every student.

This program should be developmental in nature and include curriculum, planning, responsive services, and system support.
