Orchestra is open to all 9-12 graders who previously played a stringed instrument (violin, viola, cello, double bass) in their middle school orchestra. This is not a beginning level class. The orchestra meets during first period every day and we perform 4 concerts each school year. The KHS orchestra learns and performs a wide variety of music including: classical, pop, holiday, rock, jazz, show tunes, and movie music. We also usually take some kind of a trip to a festival, competition, or to see a professional symphony perform in the spring semester.
