Mu Alpha Theta
Mu Alpha Theta is the National High School Mathematics Honor Society. We are dedicated to inspiring interest, developing strong scholarship, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics while eating lots of snacks. We presently have 105 active members who provide tutoring on Tuesday and Thursday in the library from 3:45-4:45; they also coordinate the math wing's annual PI Day activities. We also compete in approximately 15 different competitions throughout the year and attend the State and National Conventions each year. This year, the National Convention will celebrate its 50th year at Myrtle Beach!
