Picking Your Child Up Early?
School is dismissed at 2:45 p.m. In order for all of our students to load their buses, cars, and daycare vans, we begin loading for dismissal at 2:30 p.m. The office will not accept any early dismissals after 2:15 p.m. If your child has an appointment, please be sure to have them picked up before 2:15 p.m. Please remember - a photo I.D. is ALWAYS required when picking up a student.

Automated Calls
The automated calls you get from FPS and/or the district are important. Please listen to the message. DO NOT CALL THE SCHOOL asking what the message was. With close to 1,000 students, this is tying up phone lines that could be needed in an emergency. Automated calls could contain information about inclement weather, bus problems, or important announcements. Remember:
Listen to the entire message
Follow the directions given in the message

Cell Phones In School Zones
Tennessee has a law regarding cell phone use in school zones. As of January 1, 2018 it became illegal to hold your cell phone in a moving vehicle within a school zone, this means flashing light to flashing light, not just on school property. It is a Class C Misdemeanor and punishable by a fine of up to $50. Knowing this will help keep our students, families, and staff safe.
