I joined Knox County Schools in 2006 as a 6th grade teacher at Holston Middle School. In 2010, I joined the leadership team at Holston as a TAP Mentor teacher. I entered administration in 2012 when I was appointed assistant principal at Sarah Moore Greene Magnet Academy. I served as assistant principal at Sarah Moore Greene for the past 5 years. I was an assistant principal at Shannondale from 2017 to 2021. I was appointed principal of Sterchi Elementary in 2021.

I hold a Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies-Human Learning for Tennessee Technological University, a Master of Administration and Supervision and an Education Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University.
