East Knox County Library hours are 7:45-2:45 Monday through Friday. Please remember to bring a note from your teacher when you visit.

Meet the Librarian

The Library Media Specialist works collaboratively with students, teachers, administrators, and the larger community to meet the personal and academic needs of each learner as they strive to make sense of the world.

Students in PreK-2 can check out one book at a time. Students in 3rd-5th grade are allowed to check out two books at a time.

Students in PreK and Kindergarten will leave their books at school so that they have them during class reading times.

Remember, that you must turn your library book in to check out a new one. If you lose or damage a book, you will be responsible for paying for a replacement book.
