School Improvement

East Knox Elementary has also been designated an Additional Targeted Support and Improvement (ATSI) school. This is a federal designation assigned to schools with low school performance among student groups. Schools that receive a federal designation qualify for additional funding from the federal Department of Education to close achievement gaps and increase student outcomes.
