    It is an honor to be able to serve as principal of Mill Creek Elementary, where we are “otterly” awesome!  We can’t wait to meet the first little otters that will enter the school doors beginning August 2023.  In the meantime, we are working very hard to hire the best teachers and staff while continuing the work of opening this brand new school.  Should you have any questions, please email me at sunny.scheafnocker@knoxschools.org.

    We are so excited to be a part of opening this beautiful school! We absolutely love this community and cannot wait to see our first otters enter the building! Opening a new building has been a wonderful learning experience and a lot of fun. We have hired some incredible staff who love to teach and care for all of the students they serve. It is going to be a great “charter” year.
