  • New This School Year

    Student Agendas

Students will use their agenda every day in every class. This is our school's AVID strategy this year.
Students are expected to fill their agendas out for each class.
Our AVID goal is to improve organization skills and study skills.
Students will use the Teacher's Classroom Agenda
(not your own) as a hall pass. If you lose your agenda,
you will need to purchase a new one from the office.

    Student Absences

One of our goals for the school year is to minimize student absenteeism. Students will not be able to participate in extracurricular events like Homecoming and Prom if they have an excessive number of unexcused absences.
To be eligible for participation in school-wide events
    1. A student can have no more than 2 days of OSS.

    2. A student must be on track to graduate.

    3. A student can have no more than 10 unexcused absences.

    4. A student can have no more than 5 unexcused tardies to school per semester.

    Cell Phones in the Classroom

There should be no phones out during class periods. Cellphones may be used in the hallway during transition or during lunch only. Cell phones are strictly prohibited in the classroom. Students may not use their phone to listen to music, or have it in their hand while in the classroom. Failure to comply with teacher request will be addressed as insubordination. Multiple write-ups will cause students to not be able to obtain a parking pass, attend prom, or attend school-wide incentive events.
