Mr. Steve Killian taught at Bearden Middle and Clinton Jr. High before teaching at Central High in 1988, where he worked for 12 years.

He began his career in administration in 2000 when he was named assistant principal at Halls High School.  In 2007, he became assistant principal of West High School, and in 2018, he was named an assistant principal at Farragut High School.  He was named Executive Principal of Carter High School in November of 2023.

Mr. Killian holds a bachelor's degree in physical education from the University of Tennessee and a master's degree in secondary education from LMU.
