  • I am thankful for the opportunity to serve as the principal at East Knox County Elementary School.   I have previously been a teacher, instructional coach, parent, and assistant principal at EKCES.   I have also served as an assistant principal at Beaumont Magnet Academy and Christenberry Elementary in Knox County Schools.  I love working with our staff, families, students, PTO, and community partners to help our students to build success skills to see the many possibilities for their life.  I am proud to continue the work as a Leader In Me school to help our students to engage in learning and leading.  I look forward to working with you to continue to develop pride in our community!

I am honored and grateful to serve as the assistant principal at East Knox County School. This marks my fourth year as part of the Cougar family that deeply cares for its students, and it also represents my 21st year as an assistant principal in Knox County Schools. Being a part of this wonderful community has made me feel connected to everything our school's mascot represents.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is the beginning of each school year when I have the opportunity to meet new young students, provide support to parents, and introduce them to our exceptional educational staff. It brings me immense joy to witness the potential and enthusiasm of our students as they embark on their educational journeys.

I take great pride in being available to anyone who wishes to share their thoughts, experiences, or concerns. Our school's success and the growth of our students are my utmost priorities, and I am committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment for all.

If there are any specific matters you'd like to discuss, whether related to education, our school community, or anything else on your mind, please feel free to share. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and support their growth and development.
